8/10-12 Suzhou and Shanghai

Suzhou is known for its beauty and silk products. With tree lined streets and fresh air, Suzhou was a real nice break from Beijing. We visited some parks in Suzhou and the leaning Pagoda.

Unfortunately, we ran into some pretty intense rain in Shanghai. So most of the evening activities were cancelled. But, as a result we got plenty of free time we which we used to visit Shanghai's bar district.
